Spring Break in San Diego

If you think Spring Break in San Diego would be nice and warm and sunny, you would be wrong. Because that's what we thought! Although the temp topped around 70 degrees and it rained a few days, we still made the most of it! It was Jon, Eddie and I (Leah was with her mom and step-dad).

We managed to fit a lot of activities into a short period of time. We went Kayaking in La Jolla and then walked around the beach line to get some views of the sea lions. They are so cute! Eddie was able to get fairly close to one of them. The kayaking wasn't so bad in the full sun!

We did the Fleet Science Center and enjoyed the Hop on Hop off bus. We started out in and ended in Old Town San Diego where we spent time shopping, walking around and having lunch. It felt like being in Mexico! We loved the vibe. My favorite part of the Hop on Hop off was visiting Seaport Village. I loved walking the pier and seeing all of the fresh fish vendors. Stinky but very cool.

Belmont Park was a fun way to spend a few hours. Eddie loved the arcade and rides and strolling along the beach. (My pics are so out of order!)

Highlight - the San Diego Zoo's Safari Park. I've been there before but it had been years. It was fun going back.
